FAQs

How do Alenza® Soft Chews provide more than just joint support for your patients?

Alenza® supports multiple systems throughout the body, including a healthy inflammatory response in dogs for whole body comfort.

Oxidative stress happens daily within the body through normal wear and tear. However, many other factors, including age and lifestyle, can lead to increased production of free radicals causing tissue damage and loss of tissue function. Alenza® helps remove damaging free radicals and helps to decrease oxidative damage.

What are the dosing and frequency guidelines for Alenza® Soft Chews?

Alenza® can be given during or after mealtime.

Maintenance recommendations:
5 to 15 lbs. — ½ chew every other day
16 to 30 lbs. — ½ chew daily
31 to 60 lbs. — 1 chew daily
61 to 100 lbs. — 2 chews daily
101 to 125 lbs. — 3 chews daily
Over 126 lbs. — 2 to 4 chews daily

Alenza® can be used as a standalone product or in coordination with other supplement support products such as Free Form™ and/or Synovi G4® from Bayer.

Alenza® can be used for ongoing, long-term use in dogs to support a healthy inflammatory response and comfort, but it should not be used in the place of prescription drugs to manage pain.
