FAQs

What are the active ingredients in Relief® Shampoo?
  • 1% pramoxine hydrochloride
  • Omega-6 fatty acids
  • Colloidal oatmeal
What are the dosing and frequency guidelines for Relief® Shampoo?

Relief® Shampoo should be shaken well before use and may be used as often as necessary.

What is the recommended contact time for Relief® Shampoo?

Clients should apply a sufficient amount of Relief® Shampoo, lathering well into the pet’s coat; contact with the skin is important. When entire coat is treated, allow lather to remain for five to 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with water.

Should I recommend my clients use a gentle grooming shampoo prior to applying medicated shampoo?

A gentle grooming shampoo is a great option to use before a medicated shampoo. Your client may wish to clean the skin and coat prior to applying the medicated shampoo so the medication will have more contact with clean skin.

Relief is a registered trademark of Bayer.
