K9 Advantix® II is a convenient monthly topical application that kills and repels fleas, ticks and mosquitoes. It's specially formulated for dogs with imidacloprid, permethrin and pyriproxyfen for broad spectrum protection against these ectoparasites that can transmit diseases. K9 Advantix® II is for use on dogs 7 weeks and older and weighing 4 lbs. or more.
K9 Advantix® II kills fleas, ticks, mosquitoes and lice, and repels biting flies. And because it works through contact, there’s no biting required.
Do not use K9 Advantix® II on cats.
Key benefits
Kills and repels fleas, ticks and mosquitoes
Repels biting flies and kills lice
Kills fleas within 12 hours, and kills reinfesting fleas within 2 hours
Kills all flea life stages and prevents reinfestations
Kills and repels ticks, including the deer tick, the American dog tick, the brown dog tick and the Lone Star tick
How is K9 Advantix® II different from K9 Advantix®?
With the addition of an insect growth regulator (IGR), K9 Advantix® II has a broader range of flea protection. In addition to killing adult fleas, it also kills flea eggs and larvae for multi-stage protection.
What is the benefit of repellency in K9 Advantix® II?
Repellency helps prevent ticks, fleas, and mosquitoes from attaching, biting or feeding. A repelled parasite doesn’t bite or attach. If it doesn’t bite or attach, it can’t transmit the organisms that may cause disease.
What is the difference between K9 Advantix® II and oral tick and flea products?
K9 Advantix® II kills fleas and ticks through contact. They do not have to bite and feed on the pet to die. Oral products require fleas and ticks to bite and ingest the medication in the bloodstream to die.
